The Concert and Symphonic bands received a second division rating at
Festival on
March
3.

The Wind Ensemble received a one division rating at Festival on March
3. The Wind
Ensemble will advance to the State level of competition in April.

March 16-17 Band/Choir All-Night Party, 10:00 pm-6:00 am.
·
March 24 is the State Solo & Ensemble at Port Huron High School.
Bingo fundraiser every Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the
Bingo Hall on Gratiot & 21 Mile Road.

For the first time in the history of Dakota, four
choirs have returned from District Choral
Festival with the highest possible rating of a "I",
in performance and in sightreading.
Congratulations to our Women's Varsity Choir, Varsity Choir,
Junior Varsity Choir and
Men's Choir. All four groups will now perform at the State
Choir Festival in Lansing in
May.
